2018 Production Sale Results

DOHNE rams are heading to four states after the 15th annual Macquarie Dohne production sale at Ballimore on Monday. In a 70 per cent auction clearance 101 of 146 rams sold to $8000 and averaged $1941. The change of venue for stud principals John and Robyn Nadin and family from their Mumblebone, Warren, venue to the stud’s Ballimore ram deport a little north of Dubbo, made it easier for old clients and new buyers to attend. Macquarie's $4500 high Rams sell to healthy $2266 average. GREAT numbers were at Warren to witness the 14th annual on-property sale for the Macquarie Dohnes last week where 148 rams were offered for a top price of $4500 three times and an average of $2266, increasing the average from last year by just over $200. 2015 Sale Results

FIVE rams purchased by five buyers topped at $2800 when 138 of 139 rams averaged $1701 during the 12th annual Macquarie Dohne on-property sale at Warren on Wednesday, September 23. Rams went to 19 NSW clients and one from Queensland. Yeoval district breeder who returned after six years to buy three rams for the top average of $2600 including two of the sale-toppers was Brad Kerin, Springlands Pastoral Company, who selected a son of the Coolibar (South Australian) sire purchased by Macquarie stud in 2013 as his first showing a Dohne Index Value (DIV) of 152.85. 2014 Sale Results

A loyal crowd of repeat buyers bid strongly during the Macquarie Dohnes annual ram sale last week diving prices to $4400. The carcase and wool attributes of the line up were commented on by potential before the sale as being consistent and even throughout the rams offered by the Nadin family and McCann family, Warren, which resulted in 131 rams sold of the 138 rams offered, at an average of $1808. RAMS reached a top of $3800 and an average of $1620 at last Wednesday's Macquarie Dohne Stud sale at Warren with buyers attending from NSW, Queensland and as far away as Tasmania.
